In Praise of our Differences
As Unitarians, we frequently lift up how much we value and honor the differences among us. We speak with great appreciation about the ways in which our theological diversity and unique individual contributions are wonderful additions to our communities. What we don’t do as often as we might, however, is find ways to harness the power found in our differences as a vehicle for positive change. Rather than seeing our differences as a point of pride or source of tension, what would it mean to view them as a compelling tool for growth and change?
