We need your skills and creativity to help make the 2012 Spiritual Leadership Symposium event a success! There are a variety of ways to volunteer. Please read the options, and click here to complete the Volunteer Form.

Touch Group Leaders

Taking inspiration from youth and young adult Conferences, the Symposium’s program includes multigenerational “Touch Groups” co-led by youth/young adult and adult pairs. These are small, supportive “communities within the community” that will meet three times during the course of the event. (We need 40-60 volunteers for this role. See the Touch Group Leaders page for more details.)

Spiritual Practice Session Leaders

Saturday and/or Sunday mornings. Lead a 45-60 minute time for possibilities such as yoga, circle dance, meditation, outdoor walks in the area, or whatever else might be inspiring to participants and tap into your talents and gifts as a UU.

Each day during the symposium we will be convening table dialogues among ten individuals, for facilitated conversation. Orientation and a facilitators’ guide will be provided.

Registration (and Session Support)

We need a team of friendly people who can provide support during the registration process. We’re also seeking support with logistics during Symposium sessions.

The Multimedia Team

Step up with your multimedia experience and talents! We’re creating a multimedia team and are interested in having a videographer, photographers, and other talented people to help capture all the richness of the Symposium experience.
